Captain Mama Platform Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Captain Mama (“Platform”). By accessing, registering, or using any of our services or workshops (“Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our [Privacy Policy] (link to it). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately cease using the Platform.
2. Accounts and Registration
- Account Creation: All participants must register using their full legal name, which will appear on their Certificate of Attendance.
- Verification: Email or mobile verification via an OTP code is required for account activation.
- Account Confidentiality: Each participant is provided with a personal, private account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activities that occur under your account.
- Personal Use Only: The registered account is for the personal use only of the individual who registered.
3. Usage Policy and Account Sharing
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Account Sharing: Sharing your account details with any other person, including family members. Your paid registration covers one individual only.
- Simultaneous Logins: Logging in simultaneously from multiple devices.
- Unauthorized Use: Copying or redistributing any workshop materials.
- Monitoring: The Platform reserves the right to track login activity, IP addresses, and device types to monitor for abnormal activity or account sharing.
- Actions: If multiple users are detected under one account, the account may be suspended or the certificate withheld pending review.
4. Code of Conduct and Communication Etiquette
Captain Mama is committed to providing a safe and respectful learning environment. All users are expected to adhere to the following:
- Mutual Respect: Treat trainers and fellow participants with courtesy and use polite language in all interactions.
- Prohibited Content: Avoid any political, religious, or controversial discussions or content.
- Stay on Topic: Keep discussions relevant to the training topic.
- Integrity: Commit to honesty and personal accountability in completing activities. Cheating, impersonation, or forgery is forbidden.
- Official Channels: Use official communication channels (email, contact forms, internal messaging system) for all inquiries.
5. Workshop Completion and Certification
- Program Nature: Captain Mama’s programs are educational and awareness-based, not academic. There are no pass/fail grades.
- Certificate Requirements: To receive an electronic “Certificate of Attendance,” participants must:
- Complete at least 80% of the total workshop content (viewing lessons, finishing exercises).
- Submit the end-of-workshop evaluation form.
- Attendance Policy: Electronic attendance (live sessions or completing recorded modules) is considered equivalent to traditional attendance.
- Non-Compliance: If the 80% attendance requirement is not met, the certificate will not be issued automatically.
6. Intellectual Property
All materials provided by Captain Mama, including (but not limited to) text, videos, visuals, exercises, and guides, are the exclusive property of the Platform and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
- License: You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for your personal educational use only.
- Restrictions: You may not copy, reproduce, modify, redistribute, or use materials for commercial or group training purposes without prior written consent from the Platform.
- Exception: Personal sharing for family or awareness purposes is permitted with proper acknowledgment.
7. Payments and Refunds
- Payments: All workshop fees are paid in advance. Enrollment provides access for the registered user only.
- Refund Policy: Define your policy here. E.g., “All sales are final and non-refundable due to the digital nature of the content. If technical issues prevent access to the workshop and are not resolved by our support team within 5 business days, the user may request a full refund.”
8. Termination and Suspension
Captain Mama reserves the right to take action upon detecting any behavior that violates these Terms. Actions may include:
- Warning: Sending a written or verbal warning.
- Suspension: Temporarily suspending the account or restricting communication privileges.
- Termination: Revoking access to workshops, withholding a certificate, or permanently removing the user from the platform, which may occur without a refund.
9. Disclaimers (Important)
- Awareness Content Only: Captain Mama’s programs are for health education and awareness purposes. The content provided is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- Not Medical Advice: Never rely on information on this Platform in place of seeking qualified medical advice. Always consult your doctor or other qualified healthcare provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition.
- “As Is”: The Services and content are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties, express or implied.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Captain Mama and its directors or employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to, or use of, the Platform and its content.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page or via email. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
